![]() ![]() There is what looks like a bouquet of flowers, which I believe to probably be a reference to the bouquet of flowers Mrs. It contains a simple white, black, and yellow color scheme. Dalloway was done by Vanessa Bell, Virginia Woolf’s sister. The artwork that appears in the first printing of Mrs. I thought a good place to start when looking at book cover was the books first edition. Dalloway and decided it would be a fun idea to look a few of them up. So I got to thinking about the different covers of Virginia Woolf’s Mrs. To me the 1990 edition that most of my class mates had made more sense. It was an odd image that I didn’t at first glance understand why it was relevent to the story. While I was reading this story for the third time I got to staring at the cover of my edition of the novel. Why might the original cover have been choose to represent this novel? Why has that changes in the late 20th and early 21st covers of this novel? Looking at three covers of Virginia Woolf’s beautiful novel Mrs. ![]()
